PROJECT MANAGEMENT, CONSULTANCY & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

1 LOVE POP - UP SHOPÂ
MARSH WALL, E14
Sept 2015 - Sept 2017
This project entailed utilising a disused medical centre due for redevelopment. During the 2 year meanwhile lease I helped create a furniture and homeware re-use business that collected donations and redistributed them at low cost locally. This allowed the project to become financially self sustainable and not rely on any external funding to function. During the project's lifecycle I was also involved in community consultations that resulted in additionally setting up events for local people and creating an extensive number of workshops and activities
PEPPER STREET PROJECT
CROSSHARBOUR E14
Oct 2017 - Jan 2019
The Pepper Street Project involved adopting a street of mixed category spaces to include retail shops, office spaces and open floors. During my time with the project I initiated a furniture re-use project, hosted fundraising and private events, incorporated community groups and businesses into offices and work areas, facilitated multiple corporate give back events, creative workshops and activities and started a community hair braiding pop-up business

SOUTH NORWOOD REGENERATION
Starting June 2019
Having organised a 3 month sponsorship and donation for the Pepper Street Project, connecting a medium sized building contractor and property management company into the world of community, they realised they were able to give back even more. They will now be involved in the development of temporary community spaces as part of the South Norwood Regeneration plans constructing and providing training facilities for the unemployed and teenagers refered from PRUs (pupil referral units). I will be assisting them in their ongoing local community consultation plans and developing a project in a disused council building as part of the 2 - 3 year project. Consultations will begin in June 2019
